Tutorial to apply faux mink eyelashes

Here is a tutorial on how to apply Faux Mink Eyelashes, that sometimes looks a bit tricky to apply, so I’m just goiong share with you all some hints & some helpful tips and tricks that have helped me.

Tutorial: faux mink eyelashes

For the tutorial, you can use the faux mink whispies or any other brand of faux mink eyelashes. These are lightweight with invisible band so they’re super light weight.

Step 1. identify Right & Left Lashes

Take the 3D faux mink whispies your tweezers on the outer edge to peel them off the package. Be careful to select the right lash for the right eye and the other one for the left eye. Don’t confuse them as they have a specific side.

Twist gently the lashes in a wave form to give them some flexibility and shape to fit your eyelid.

Step 2. Faux Mink Eyelashes Trimming

Then place one on your eye to assess the length. Don’t put it too close towards your nose.

You may want to trim the outer part to shorten them a bit. Do not cut the beginning, otherwise you lose the natural look of it.

Step 3. Eyelashes Glue Application

You can use the Duo Glue, which has a good price and it works very well. So the trick with the eyelash glue application is that you don’t want to put too much glue. In order to avoid a spill, just gently squeeze the glue tube to get a little bit.

Apply the glue on the first little dot and drag it all along the eyelash frame on the whole line. Let it dry for about 20 seconds. Don’t let it go too dry or it won’t stick.

Step 4. Eyelash positioning

Place the eyelash extension in the middle of the eyelid with your hands then use your clean tweezers (make sure there’s no glue or anything sticky on them).

Use your tweezers to press the Faux Mink Eyelash onto your natural lash upper line. Pinch the Ardell Faux Mink extension together with your natural lashes in order for them to have a better connection.

Step 5. Add Mascara

You then need to add mascara to fusion both the fake lashes with your natural lashes, by just coating the base of the lashes from the inner part of the eye. This will avoid to get clumpy and look fake, that is, if you wan to look natural!
